I have graduated as a Certified Sports Nutritionist from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN) and also graduated with the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Sports & Exercise Nutrition (Dip.ISSN)
As a registered Nutrionist, from my education and experience nutrition is the heart of any goal. Without a good understanding of food, your results without the application of basic nutrition it will never give you the results as you would with the correct nutrition programme. It is well documented exercise alone and dieting alone do not work. Research has proven that both exercise and nutrition are critical to the body transformation process.
Nutrition should be good tasty food that is not a burden on you. You should not be eating the foods you dislike. You diet should be full of the food YOU like. I believe in nutrition that is flexible in it nature to that it can be realistic and sustainable for the future and not short term. Do you know of someone who has been on a diet before and stuck to it for a long time? Time and time again I see generic nutrition programmes that has the same application of food each day with no variety.
